Tegan’s life is not great at the moment. She’s stuck in a dead end job with a baby on the way, the product of what she thinks at first is a one night stand. But when she finds out the truth, in a state of upset, she decides to drive to her brother’s house despite an oncoming snow storm. She’s seriously injured in a car crash and despite being in the middle of nowhere she is rescued by a kindly stranger and taken to his and his wife’s house to wait out the snow storm. However it soon becomes clear that this couple are not as friendly as they seem and she finds herself held hostage and the story ramps up into a thrilling tale of survival. This is an intriguing and dark tale which is brought to life by the lively narration. It’s also a tale of appearances can be deceptive and to be aware of your own prejudices about how people look. A thoroughly enjoyable story.I recommend

Absolutely loved this one from start to finish. I think it’s definitely one of my favourites of Freida’s. I heard a lot of bad reviews on it which put it to the back but I honestly wish I’d of gotten to it a lot sooner. Loved it!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recommend

- Well this reminded me of the film Misery, I did enjoy the Crash but felt it lacked pace, I felt at times I was listening just to get to the next part because the characters were a bit irritating
