This was my first Lucy Foley book. I couldn't wait to jump in after reading the synopsis and I can honestly say it certainly delivered! I love to indulge in books that offer a multi-perspective narrative and shifting timelines. I realise that some readers may find the frequent shifts and the 4 different viewpoints irritating and hard to follow, but for me personally this was the book's main selling point! It's easy to see why 'The Midnight Feast' was nominated for Goodreads Choice Award for Readers' Favorite Mystery & Thriller in 2024. This book will definitely become one of my favourite reads of this year. Cleverly interweaving themes of privilege, folklore and long-buried secrets. This, along with the ancient woodlands setting, produces a gloriously atmospheric tale.A must-read

I quite enjoyed this book overall. Didn’t love the narration- however a lot of the characters are meant to be unlikeable so I suppose it plays on that.I recommend
Enjoyed Eddie’s narration - especially at the end with the varying pace.Book★4

- Loved this book. Glad I listened to it rather than reading it. Added to the story with the different voices and points of view.

- I’m so pleased I listened to this rather than read it. Having the numerous actors reading the various pov’s, and the moving from teen yrs to adult, just really added to the overall story and experience.Really enjoyed this. Think it’s her best yet!
